Catchin up a bit.... Ok a lot!

Ok, now I know that we haven't written in a while, but the we is really not a we; its a me and the me has been writing my thesis for the last 4 months. The thesis, if you were wondering, is all finished now and has been accepted without any need for corrections. I am very pumped about that and the fact that I am now done all my courses for my MBA at Royal Roads University. I will write some small updates from Christmas and the other major holidays etc. missed over the last four months.

Abby's birthday, December 9th 2006: Abby decided to have an old fashioned tea party as the theme for this years birthday bash. It was quite delightful, and all attendees came in old fashioned clothes, and were the beneficiaries of old fashioned eats, drinks, and candy bags. Amazing how the taste of those old fashioned candies brings back many memories of the old homestead... Ok I'm not that old, but I still remember the tastes of my childhood. Here are a couple pictures from the day.

Hannah's 1st birthday, December 16th, 2006: The theme for the day was Winter Onederland, and we enjoyed a great time with family. We had everyone over to our place, the farm, for tea and dessert. We had a great time, and Hannah ate lots of cake.

Christmas 2006: We celebrated Christmas at the Seibel's on Christmas day, where we started with an early morning breakfast made by Kevin (me) and Grandpa Seib... We then opened some gifts. We went to Beacon Hill Park in the afternoon for some park action and we had a great time.

Boxing Day 2006: Every year the Hordyk clan has a massive boxing day extraveganza with various events all day long. This year was no exception and we enjoyed skating, playing in the gym, eating dinner together, and a family program.

New Years 2006: To conclude the glorious year of 2006 we enjoyed a New Years get-to-together with Seibel side of the family. We all stayed at a resort in Parksville and enjoyed the cottage life for 3 days. We enjoyed swimming, saunaing, gaming, eating, and just having fun with family. It was a great time had by all, and the beginning of many splurgefests on the Seibel parents since now it is there retirement duty to begin to spoil their kids and grandkids more. Next year I will suggest we do the same, yet in Austria... The hills are alive with the sound of music!!!!!
