45 Days
Well, it has been 45 days since we moved to Bragg Creek (temporarily). It has been fun exploring new places (as you will see in pictures below) and having time to do things we often don’t have time to do. People have said we are on an adventure and we do feel like that and we are embracing it! However, there are times when we miss the familiar whether it is our home, family, or friends, there is something comforting in the familiar. I have thought a lot about this because being transported to a new place has made me think about how I embrace and respond to new people in my life. I have come to realize how many times in the comforts of my Victoria life I never made a huge effort to include someone who is new. Now the shoe is on a different foot and I am the new one. The reality is everyone wants to belong to something, to have significance and relationship. I know that when I return to the familiar I am going to make more of an effort to step out of my comfort zone to reach out to those that are “new” in whatever capacity that may be. Well, there are my thoughts for the day. I hope you enjoy the pictures posted below. Many of the pictures where taken by our budding photographer “Abby” Hope this email finds you well!
